The VARIO Icon A Vertical Chain Cable Guide is a vertical cable guide for desks, designed for users who want to direct cables in a chain configuration from a tabletop-mounted accessory. Its defining feature is the vertical cable chain, while its stated tabletop compatibility is for a 25 mm thickness, helping buyers check fit before choosing it.
This VARIO cable guide uses a cable chain for vertical routing. That configuration gives cables a defined guided path rather than leaving them to hang without a guide, making it easier to keep the cable route associated with the desk in view and organized.
The vertical orientation is the key choice for anyone looking specifically for a vertical desk cable management accessory. It differs from a cable guide intended for horizontal routing, so consider how cables need to travel from the tabletop when deciding whether this configuration suits your workstation.
The product is specified for tabletop mounting and a tabletop thickness of 25 mm. Checking that thickness against your desk before ordering is a practical way to confirm that the stated mounting specification matches the furniture you plan to use it with.
Because the guide mounts to the tabletop, it is intended for use with a desk rather than as a free-standing cable accessory. This makes it relevant when selecting cable management for an individual desk setup or a work area furnished with compatible tables.
Color choices listed for the product include silver, black, transparent, grey and white. These options give you a choice of neutral tones or a transparent finish when coordinating the cable guide with your desk and surrounding furniture. The product data does not specify a material, so choose by the stated color and mounting details rather than assuming a particular finish or construction.
For buyers comparing desk cable guides, the main selection points are straightforward: this is a VARIO ICON A collection accessory, its product type is a vertical cable guide, its design uses a cable chain, and it mounts to a tabletop specified at 25 mm thick. These details help distinguish it from guides with a different orientation or mounting arrangement.
Use the vertical chain configuration when a guided vertical cable route is what your desk setup calls for. If your tabletop matches the stated thickness and you prefer one of the listed colors, the VARIO Icon A offers a clearly defined cable-guidance option without requiring you to infer specifications that are not provided.
