Sellex Chairs, Benches and Shared Seating

Sellex seating includes benches, visitor chairs, swivel chairs and stools. These formats can serve a workplace from the arrival area to a meeting room and high table. The selection is especially useful when the way people approach and leave a seat has been thought through: a wall-mounted bench, a multi-seat bench and a swivel chair each behave differently in a room.

Use benches to organise waiting

Aero is a freestanding anodised-aluminium bench. Bildu appears in single-seat and multi-seat wooden bench formats. A bench can offer clear, shared seating along a wall or at the edge of an open area. Decide whether people will wait briefly, sit for a conversation or use the bench near a table. Its depth, length and approach space should match that purpose.

Sellex seating also includes a wall-mounted HPL-seat bench. Wall mounting changes the planning questions: confirm the wall and installation requirements, then leave clear floor space for people to sit and stand. A bench that keeps the floor open can be valuable in a circulation area, but the occupied seats must not block the route.

Give visitors an appropriate chair

Within Sellex seating, Hammok is an upholstered visitor chair with armrests. A visitor chair is often seen first from the doorway, so its orientation can signal whether a guest should sit, wait or join a table. It can provide a more individual place than a bench in a reception or meeting area. Position it where a guest can face the person they came to see and where the armrests do not collide with a nearby desk or table. A side surface may be useful for a notebook or drink.

Compare the selected upholstery with the expected use. An arrival area may see people coming and going all day; a private meeting room may place more emphasis on a softer appearance. In either setting, check the exact finish and care guidance for the chair rather than assuming all upholstered versions are alike.

Choose Slam for the right task

Slam appears as a swivel office chair and as a star-base chair with castors. These configurations may suit a working or meeting position where movement matters. Review the chosen model’s adjustments and support in relation to the desk or table. Leave sufficient floor space for the base and the user’s movement.

Sellex seating can connect a work area to nearby visitor seating through a common design direction, but the chairs should still be chosen for their separate jobs. A swivel base, fixed visitor base and bench each set a different posture and level of mobility. Test them with the surfaces they will serve.

Bring stools into high-table settings

Nest is a sled-base bar stool with a polypropylene seat in the available configuration. It belongs at a suitable counter or high table. Compare its seat height and foot support with the surface, and allow enough room behind it for someone to get on and off. The sled base also needs space to move without catching a neighboring stool.

A high table can provide a short-stay meeting point alongside a more settled conference area. Make its role clear and keep the route around it open. The stool’s material may be practical in a frequently used shared space, but its care and suitability should be checked for the selected version.

Keep materials and use aligned

Aluminium, wood, HPL, upholstery and polypropylene appear across these seating formats. They can give different spaces their own character while still belonging to one workplace. Choose each material for the actual setting, then use colour or finish to connect nearby pieces. A long bench will have a different visual effect from a small visitor chair even in the same colour.

Sellex seating works best when each format has a defined place. A bench can structure waiting, Hammok can serve a conversation, Slam can support work and Nest can complete a raised meeting point. Check the occupied layout, wall conditions where relevant and the exact product configurations before settling the scheme.
