König + Neurath Basic 4 Corner Perforated Asymmetrical Desk

König + Neurath Basic 4 Corner Perforated Asymmetrical Desk

The König + Neurath Basic 4 Corner Perforated Asymmetrical Desk Modesty Panel is a steel screen for a corner desk in an office or home workspace. Its perforated surface and unequal corner layout distinguish it from a plain, straight panel, while its role is to provide a visual screen beneath the desk without presenting a solid face.

Corner Desk Modesty Panel

This BASIC.4 accessory is designed for an asymmetrical corner arrangement, making it relevant when the two sides of the desk do not form a matching layout. The corner configuration helps create a coordinated underside appearance across the desk’s adjoining sides, rather than treating the workstation as a standard straight desk.

As a desk modesty panel, it adds a visual boundary beneath the work surface. That can help keep the desk area looking more composed in an open-plan office, a shared workspace, or a home office, while leaving the desktop available for work. It is a panel accessory, not a complete desk, so choose it when you are planning the appearance of an existing or separately specified workstation.

Perforated Steel Design

The panel is made from steel, giving the screen a defined, structured surface. Its perforations break up the solid appearance of sheet material, so the panel reads as a lighter visual element beneath the desk. The design is asymmetrical as well as perforated, combining a distinctive corner shape with an open pattern.

Color information lists grey, white, and black, while the detailed finish is described as aluminium-coloured. Because those descriptions do not identify a single selected finish, check the available color choice for the configuration you intend to order. This helps you coordinate the panel with the desk and surrounding office furniture rather than relying on an assumed color.

Planning and Compatibility

The König + Neurath Basic 4 corner panel is intended for buyers furnishing a BASIC.4 corner workstation who want a matching under-desk screen. Its unequal sides are the key fit consideration: confirm that the asymmetrical arrangement corresponds to the left-and-right orientation of your desk before selecting it.

Mounting brackets are marked as not selected in the supplied product details. Check what fixing hardware is required for your desk and whether it must be ordered separately; the available information does not confirm that brackets are included. This is especially important when adding the panel to an existing workstation, since a correct corner shape alone does not establish how it will attach.

The listing specifies steel construction and a perforated design but does not provide cleaning instructions or acoustic performance information. Treat it as a visual desk panel rather than an acoustic solution, and follow the supplier’s guidance for care. For offices, meeting areas, or home workspaces using a compatible BASIC.4 corner desk, it offers a coordinated way to finish the open space beneath the work surface.
