Where Espai desk screens can be useful
Desk screens can help distinguish one work area from another without changing the overall furniture plan. Consider the Espai collection when furnishing shared desks, arranging a row of workstations or giving a team area a clearer sense of individual space. The felt-covered surfaces also introduce a textile finish alongside the desk’s other materials.
Think about the screen as part of the workstation, not as a stand-alone finish choice. Compare its appearance with the desk, chair and surrounding furniture, and consider whether the same model and color should be repeated throughout the space or varied between zones. The product information provided describes these models as acoustic, but does not specify a sound-reduction rating; avoid choosing on the basis of a particular performance level unless you can confirm it for the model.
How to choose between the two models
Compare the materials and finish details
The Espai Acoustic Fabric-Covered Desk Screen (OESPAIS) is described as combining epoxy-coated metal with light grey fabric and silk-colored epoxy. The Espai Acoustic Felt-Covered Desk Screen (OESPAIM) is described as having felt fabric and an epoxy finish. These are the distinguishing details supplied for the two options. Review the individual product information to confirm the finish and color offered for your intended selection.
Match the color to your workplace plan
The collection’s listed colors are beige, black, green, grey, blue, brown, red and white. Treat this as collection-level information rather than a guarantee that every color is offered on both models. If you are furnishing multiple workstations, check the exact model and color combination before standardizing it across the order. A consistent finish can help create a unified look, while different colors may help visually distinguish areas where the available options allow.
What to check before specifying
Before selecting a screen, confirm that the chosen model and finish suit the desks and layout in your project. Check the product listing for dimensions, fitting or installation details, and any other specifications you need, since these details are not included in the collection information here. For larger workplace plans, it can also help to confirm the selected finish across all the workstations where it will be used.
Myntwork offers Ondarreta Espai desk screens on a monthly lease. When reviewing the collection, compare the two models first, then confirm the specific product details and color options for your workplace. This keeps the selection grounded in the configuration you intend to use.
