The RIM Modaq MQ Support Rail Sofa Frame Component is a black support rail for the RIM MODAQ collection, identified as model MQ B3. It is intended for buyers sourcing this specific sofa-frame component rather than a complete sofa, with its defined component role and listed fire-resistance references helping guide selection and specification.
This component is described as a support rail within the MODAQ sofa frame. That makes its purpose clear when you are reviewing parts for a MODAQ configuration: you are selecting a frame component, not a seating unit or a general-purpose rail. Check that MQ B3 is the model required for your project before ordering.
The supplied product data lists no seats, feet or armrests with this item. This distinction matters when planning a sofa configuration, because the rail listing should not be treated as a complete seating setup. Confirm the other components required for your intended arrangement separately.
The rail is listed in black, a neutral color choice for coordinating with a black frame scheme. The data does not specify a material, surface treatment or dimensions, so assess those details against your project requirements rather than assuming them from the color or component type.
RIM marks this product as circular. That gives purchasing teams a stated circularity attribute to consider when comparing components, although no further detail about the circular approach is provided. If your project requires particular evidence or criteria for circular products, request the relevant information before final specification.
The listed fire-resistance references are EN 1021-1, EN 1021-2, BS 7176 Low Hazard, BS 5852 Crib 5, BS 7176 Medium Hazard, FMVSS 302, NFPA 260 and CAL TB117-2013. These references let specifiers check the product data against the fire-related requirements they need to address. Confirm that the applicable standard and classification suit the intended use and project brief.
For a straightforward purchasing check, match the RIM MODAQ collection, MQ B3 model and support-rail subtype, then verify the missing details that matter to your installation, including dimensions and material. The product record does not provide those specifications, nor does it describe assembly or compatibility beyond identifying the component as a MODAQ sofa-frame support rail. This helps keep selection focused on the supplied facts and avoids treating the component as a complete sofa or assuming unlisted features.
