Artexport BB AB Bookcase

Artexport BB AB Bookcase

The Artexport BB AB Bookcase is a freestanding storage bookcase from Artexport’s Bridge collection, designed for offices and other workspaces that need organised book storage. Its defining practical feature is a cylinder lock behind doors, which lets you keep stored items enclosed and secure rather than displayed on open shelves. Wood and white finishes offer a choice of look.

Freestanding Office Storage

As a freestanding bookcase, the BB AB can be positioned as an independent storage unit instead of being treated as wall-mounted furniture. This gives you flexibility when planning an office layout or deciding where books and work materials should be kept.

The doors give the unit a more enclosed storage arrangement than an open bookcase. Choose this configuration when you want books and other stored items kept out of direct view, while the cylinder lock provides a way to secure the cabinet.

This model does not include hanging file frames, so it is best considered for book and general cabinet storage rather than for organising suspended folders. It is also not specified as an acoustic product; select it for storage, not as a sound-absorbing screen or partition.

Wood And White Finish

The BB AB is listed in wood and white color families, making it possible to select a finish that fits the visual direction of a workplace. Its frame has an oak finish, adding a wood-look detail to the overall design. These finish details help you compare it with other furnishings without relying on a specific color code.

For an office with a mix of enclosed and open storage, consider how the doors and lock suit the items you plan to store. The closed cabinet format is useful when you prefer a tidier appearance, while the freestanding design lets the bookcase be placed where those items are most convenient to access.

Choosing The Right Bookcase

The Bridge collection includes the BB+AB model, and the product data lists multiple cabinet height options. This gives you a choice of vertical storage format; check the selected configuration before ordering to ensure it suits the space available.

For everyday office planning, think about what the cabinet needs to hold, whether access should be lockable, and whether a freestanding unit fits your layout. The Artexport BB AB is a considered option when those priorities point to a door-fronted bookcase with a cylinder lock, wood or white styling, and no hanging-file function.
