Designed as a freestanding storage solution within the K40 product line, this cabinet combines a smooth horizontal sliding tambour door with a compact footprint that fits neatly alongside desks, in meeting rooms, or as part of a reception area. Its overlaying top sits above the door for a clean, finished look, while the bent metal handle in matt nickel offers a tactile, durable detail.
Inside, the cabinet is built for everyday office use. Shelves are made from melamine-faced chipboard, giving a reliable surface for files, binders and supplies, while metal elements such as the plinth and shelf supports are powder-coated steel, chosen for strength and longevity. The tambour door is formed from plastic and is configured to open to the left, providing a smooth, space-saving way to access contents without the need for swinging doors. There is no lock included, making this an open-access storage option for shared environments.
Assembly arrives completed and the cabinet is packaged in cardboard for protection during delivery. The construction uses glued 2 mm edges for a precise finish, and the top and carcass employ melamine (MFC) finishes for consistent appearance and easy maintenance.
