The gumpo Base Cabinet Storage Cabinet is a freestanding base storage cabinet for offices that need compact, lockable storage close to the work area. Its low profile, cylinder lock and black finish distinguish it from open or tall storage, while the metal cabinet construction and black melamine body and front give it a defined, coordinated appearance.
This gumpo base storage cabinet combines a metal cabinet with a black melamine body and front. That mix of specified materials and finishes gives the cabinet a clear, consistent look, making it straightforward to coordinate with other black office furniture without relying on a bright accent color.
The base format and low proportions make it a practical choice when you want storage within reach rather than another tall cabinet in the room. Its freestanding configuration means it is not specified as a wall-mounted unit, so you can plan for it as an individual storage piece in an office layout.
A cylinder lock gives the cabinet a way to secure its contents, which is useful when work materials should not be left in open storage. It can suit everyday office storage needs, but the product data does not specify a security rating or particular contents, so choose it according to the level of protection your workplace requires.
The cabinet is listed without hanging file frames. That makes it a better fit for general cabinet storage than for a filing setup that depends on suspended folders. A left-hand door arrangement is specified, so consider the direction of access when deciding where to position the unit beside a desk or other furniture.
With its freestanding base design, the cabinet can be considered for an office, home office or meeting room where low, lockable storage is needed. Its black finish can sit comfortably alongside varied office interiors, while the two-sided end-panel specification supports planning it as a visible piece within the room rather than assuming it must be hidden against a wall.
This cabinet is not specified as an acoustic product, so it should be chosen for storage rather than sound absorption. A cable pass-through has not been selected, meaning you should not count on this configuration to route cables through the cabinet. These details help set clear expectations when comparing it with other office storage options.
