Narbutas Combus H 1635 No Back Modular Shelving System

Narbutas Combus H 1635 No Back Modular Shelving System

The Narbutas Combus H 1635 No Back Modular Shelving System is a freestanding modular storage unit for workplaces that need accessible, adaptable shelving. Its defining feature is the backless design, which keeps the unit visually open instead of creating a solid-backed cabinet, while four shelves provide separate levels for organising everyday items.

Open Design and Materials

The no-back configuration lets the shelf arrangement remain visible from behind, so it can suit a space where a closed cabinet would feel too enclosed. As a freestanding unit, it does not need to be built into another piece of furniture, giving you flexibility when planning a storage area.

Melamine shelving and a metal cabinet structure create a clear contrast between the shelf surfaces and the supporting frame. In this configuration, the shelves have a wood-tone finish with a black metal frame; the listed color range also includes beige, white, grey, brown, green and blue options.

Practical Modular Storage

Four shelves give you distinct places to sort and display stored items, helping keep frequently used materials easier to see and reach. The Narbutas Combus shelving system is modular, making it a considered choice when you want a shelving format that can work as part of a changing storage plan.

A cylinder lock is included, adding a locking feature for situations where controlled access is useful. The product information does not specify a separate lockable compartment, so consider how the locking feature fits your storage requirements before choosing this model.

Where This Shelf Works

This backless storage unit can suit office areas that benefit from open shelving, including shared work zones where a view through the furniture helps preserve a more open feel. Its freestanding format also gives you options for positioning it as a storage piece rather than relying on a wall-mounted installation.

Choose it when you need shelf storage rather than drawer or hanging-file organisation: this model has no drawers or hanging file frames. It is not specified as an acoustic product, so it should be selected for storage and organisation rather than sound absorption or noise separation.
