Alea Storage Cabinet

Alea Storage Cabinet

The Alea Storage Cabinet is a low-profile metal storage cabinet for office users who need a lockable place to keep items organised. Its cylinder lock is the key differentiator, while its broad, shallow proportions make it a distinct option from a tall cabinet. Choose from green, black or white to suit your office furniture palette.

Metal Cabinet Design

Metal construction gives this Alea office cabinet a clearly defined, practical form for everyday storage. Its low height and wider-than-tall proportions can suit a space where a tall storage unit is not the preferred format, while the shallow depth helps keep its footprint measured.

The available green, black and white finishes offer different ways to coordinate the cabinet with surrounding furniture. Green can add a colour accent, while black or white can work with a more restrained office palette. The product data does not specify a surface treatment, so finish-care requirements should not be assumed.

Lockable Office Storage

A cylinder lock lets users lock the cabinet, making it useful when stored items should not remain openly accessible. This can help keep shared office storage more controlled; the product information does not specify the lock’s security rating or include details about keys.

This is a storage cabinet rather than a hanging-file cabinet: it has no hanging folder frames. That distinction matters when choosing storage for a filing system, since hanging folders cannot be supported by the stated configuration. Consider it when the intended contents do not require hanging-file rails.

Choosing The Right Fit

The cabinet’s compact, low-profile proportions may suit an office that needs storage without adding a tall cabinet to the room. Its stated width and depth are greater than its height, so it presents as a low unit rather than a vertical filing solution. Check the available placement area against the product dimensions before ordering.

Although it is intended for storage, this model is not acoustic. It should therefore be selected for keeping items in a cabinet, not for reducing noise or improving room acoustics. This is particularly relevant when comparing storage options for a shared or open-plan office: the cabinet does not provide an acoustic function.

For office users, the decision comes down to the combination of a metal cabinet body, a cylinder lock, a low profile and a non-hanging-file configuration. If those features match the items and filing approach you need to accommodate, the Alea cabinet provides a straightforward lockable storage option in green, black or white.
