Cappellini Bamboo BM 1 Desk

Cappellini Bamboo BM 1 Desk

The Cappellini Bamboo BM 1 Desk is a straight desk for one person, with a rectangular melamine top on a steel base. Designed by Nendo in 2008, it offers a clear single-user format, three surface color choices and compatibility with a separately purchased cable tray.

Design And Materials

This Cappellini desk pairs a melamine tabletop with a steel base, making the material choices clear for anyone comparing office tables. The rectangular top gives the work surface a conventional shape, while the straight-desk design suits buyers looking for an individual rather than shared workstation.

The surface is available in black, white or grey, so you can choose a neutral tone that coordinates with your workspace. The Bamboo collection and Nendo’s 2008 design attribution help identify the desk for shoppers who are selecting furniture by collection or designer as well as by function.

Single-Person Desk Setup

With capacity for one person, the BM 1 is intended for an individual work position. It can be considered for a private office or home office where a standalone desk is needed; it is not linkable, so it is not designed to connect with matching tables to form a continuous run.

The rectangular tabletop and straight configuration provide a straightforward starting point when planning a workstation. The supplied specifications do not state adjustment or ergonomic features, so buyers who need a particular desk height or adjustability should confirm those requirements before choosing it.

Cable Planning And Ownership

The desk is suitable for a cable tray, which gives buyers the option to plan cable management around their setup. A tray is not included, however, so allow for sourcing that component separately if you want to use one; the desk itself does not arrive with a tray as part of the listed specification.

Bluetooth control is not included, a useful distinction for shoppers comparing desks with electronically controlled functions. The Cappellini Bamboo BM 1 Desk comes with a two-year warranty, giving you a defined warranty period to consider when comparing this table with other single-person office desks.
