Cappellini MU Matt Lacquer Side Table

Cappellini MU Matt Lacquer Side Table

The Cappellini MU Matt Lacquer Side Table is a round, low side table designed by Giulio Cappellini for people who want a compact surface with a clear, considered finish. Its oak top, cognac finish and matt-black column structure distinguish it from a plain occasional table, while its straightforward form makes it easy to place beside seating or within a working space.

Round Oak Table Design

The round tabletop gives this Cappellini side table a softer outline than a square occasional table, making it a natural companion beside a chair or sofa. Its compact proportions provide a place for everyday items without requiring the presence of a larger desk or meeting table.

An oak top brings a wood surface to the design, with a cognac finish that adds warmth against the black base. The matt lacquer on the structure creates a restrained contrast, so the table can coordinate with interiors that use either dark accents or warmer wood tones. The column frame keeps the support visually central rather than spreading legs around the tabletop.

Practical Side Table Details

As a side table, MU is intended for occasional use and offers a convenient surface within reach of a seated person. Its low profile suits placement next to seating, while the round top is approachable from different angles. These qualities make it useful when a compact surface is more appropriate than a full-size table.

The table is not linkable, so it is best considered as a standalone piece rather than part of a joined table arrangement. It is suitable for a cable tray, but the tray is not included; this distinction helps you plan any cable-management accessories separately. Bluetooth control is not provided, keeping the product a straightforward furniture choice rather than a powered or electronically controlled table.

For Offices And Living Spaces

The MU side table can serve as an occasional surface in a professional office, reception area or home setting, particularly where a small table beside seating is more useful than another workstation. Its round oak top and black column base offer a simple way to introduce a cognac accent without adding a large piece of furniture.

Choose this design when you value a compact format, a wood tabletop and a matt-black finish in one piece. The listed surface colors include wood, cognac walnut and black; the finish details identify an oak top in cognac and a matt-black structure. Cappellini provides a two-year warranty, giving buyers a clear coverage period to consider when comparing side tables.
