The Cube Design Cube US01 Plinth Cabinet Base is a black metal plinth-style base for cabinet storage. It is for buyers looking for a cabinet base with a cylinder lock, rather than a unit with hanging file frames or acoustic properties. Its defining combination is a metal construction, black color and plinth format.
Metal construction gives this cabinet base a firm, practical material choice for a storage setup. The black finish offers a neutral appearance that can sit alongside a range of office furnishings without introducing a bright accent color.
As a plinth, the US01 is a base option for cabinet furniture, not a standalone filing system. If you are pairing it with a cabinet, check that the base is compatible with your cabinet before ordering; the available product details do not specify dimensions or compatible cabinet models.
The listed cylinder lock provides a locking option for the cabinet setup. This may suit users who want a lockable storage cabinet, while the product information does not specify the lock’s keying arrangement or which contents it is intended to protect.
This model has no hanging folder frames, so it is not the choice for storing suspension files in a frame. Consider it when your priority is a cabinet base and general cabinet storage, rather than a dedicated hanging-file configuration.
The Cube Design Cube US01 is identified as a cabinet base in the Cube Design storage range. Its straightforward black metal appearance can work in an office or another space where cabinet storage is needed, provided the cabinet and base are suitable for one another.
It is also important to note what this product does not offer: the specifications state that it is not acoustic. If reducing sound is part of your furniture requirement, this plinth cabinet base does not provide that function, so consider a separate acoustic solution.
Choose this Cube Design plinth when a black metal cabinet base with a cylinder lock matches your storage needs. Check cabinet compatibility before purchase, and keep in mind that hanging folder frames and acoustic performance are not included. These details make it easier to assess whether the US01 is the right type of base for your intended cabinet arrangement.
