HAY Neu Low Square Top Coffee Table

HAY Neu Low Square Top Coffee Table

The HAY Neu Low Square Top Coffee Table is a low occasional table for offices, shared seating areas and home workspaces. Its square melamine top and short, column-style base create a compact surface for everyday items, while the powder-coated steel base gives the design a defined grey finish.

Square Top And Steel Base

The square tabletop gives the Neu low coffee table a clear, balanced shape that works beside lounge seating or in the centre of a small seating arrangement. Its compact footprint offers a practical place for drinks, reading materials or personal items without taking up the space of a larger table.

A melamine top pairs with a steel column base finished in anthracite powder coating. This combination brings a useful contrast between the tabletop and its grounded support, while the short base keeps the overall profile low. The grey-toned base coordinates naturally with neutral office and home interiors.

Low Table, Flexible Setup

The low height makes this HAY coffee table suited to seated conversations and informal breaks rather than desk-based work. It can serve as a shared surface in a lounge corner, reception seating area or meeting room where people need somewhere to set down small items.

The table is not adjustable or linkable, so it is best chosen as a standalone piece at the height and configuration provided. Its simple square format is easy to position alongside different seating layouts, and the short base keeps the visual profile unobtrusive.

A cable tray can be fitted to this table, but one is not included. That compatibility may help when a particular setup calls for cable organisation near the table; check that the additional tray suits your intended arrangement before ordering.

Choosing The Neu Coffee Table

Choose the HAY Neu Low Square Top Coffee Table when you want a modest, low surface with a square melamine top and a powder-coated steel base. The format is particularly useful where a broad, tall work table would feel out of place, but a convenient surface is still needed for a shared seating area.

The table comes with a two-year warranty. Its listed materials and fixed configuration make it straightforward to compare with other low occasional tables: consider whether the square top, compact proportions, grey steel base and optional cable-tray compatibility match your room and the way you plan to use it.
