The OKA Floating Rectangular 5 Cabinet Top Panel is a floating-style top panel for storage cabinets, suited to buyers looking to give a cabinet a defined, coordinated upper surface. Its rectangular shape and five-centimetre overhang are its distinguishing features, creating a visible projecting edge rather than a top that follows the cabinet outline exactly.
The floating design and overhang make the panel’s outline stand out from the cabinet beneath it. This gives the storage unit a more distinct finished appearance and makes the top an intentional part of the cabinet’s look, rather than an unnoticed covering.
A rectangular form offers a straightforward match for rectangular cabinet layouts. The panel is identified as a cabinet top panel, so it is a relevant option when updating or specifying a storage cabinet; check the available width and depth choices against the cabinet before selecting a version.
Several width and depth options are available, allowing you to consider different cabinet proportions without relying on a single fixed format. Compare the panel’s footprint with the cabinet and the surrounding space to choose a proportion that looks balanced in its intended position.
Color choices span neutral tones such as white, grey, black and beige, alongside wood and brown shades, brighter colors, and transparent. This range gives you flexibility to coordinate the top with an existing storage arrangement or choose a contrasting accent. The selected color affects the visual relationship between the panel and cabinet, so consider both when planning a coordinated office storage setup.
When comparing the OKA floating rectangular cabinet top panel with other cabinet-top options, focus on its floating style, rectangular form and defined overhang. These details are useful when the aim is to give a storage cabinet a more pronounced top edge while keeping the overall shape simple.
The panel is a design choice for cabinet storage, not an acoustic product; the product information does not identify acoustic performance. Cabinet material is listed as metal, but the panel’s own material is not specified, so do not assume a particular panel construction when making a material-based choice.
For a considered selection, match the chosen color to the surrounding furniture and check the available width and depth against your cabinet. That helps you assess the panel’s appearance and proportion before ordering, while its floating rectangular design provides a clear visual distinction from a plain, flush-looking cabinet top.
