The VARIO M1 Mobile Open Front Shelving Unit is a freestanding storage cabinet for offices and home workspaces that need accessible, movable storage. Its open front keeps stored items visible and within reach, while castors make it easier to reposition as work areas change. One shelf and a cylinder lock add useful storage flexibility.
The open-front layout makes this VARIO shelving unit suited to items you want to retrieve without opening a door. Its single shelf separates the interior into levels, helping organise everyday office supplies or other items kept close to hand.
Melamine covers the body and edges, giving the unit a consistent finished surface. The design is freestanding, so it can be positioned as an individual storage piece rather than mounted to a wall. A cylinder lock is included for users who want a lockable storage unit.
Castors make the M1 mobile shelving cabinet easier to move when a workspace layout changes or storage needs to be repositioned. That flexibility can be useful in an office, meeting room or home office where furniture arrangements may vary. The castors support mobility; no castor-locking feature is specified.
The unit is available in different width and depth configurations, giving buyers a choice of proportions to suit their available floor space. Its low cabinet format keeps storage below desk height, while the open front allows contents to remain visible. It has no hanging file frames, so it is better suited to general items than to filing documents in suspension folders.
Choose from blue, silver, white, grey, black, beige, yellow, green or red to coordinate the storage with a room’s existing colour palette. The range makes it possible to select a more neutral finish or add a stronger colour accent without changing the unit’s practical open-front design.
As a compact mobile storage option, the VARIO M1 Mobile Open Front Shelving Unit can serve individual workstations or shared office areas that benefit from accessible supplies. It is not an acoustic product, so it should be chosen for storage rather than sound absorption. The Nordic Swan Ecolabel is listed among the product’s certifications.
