Artek 153A Closed Seat Bench

Artek 153A Closed Seat Bench

The Artek 153A Closed Seat Bench is a wooden, non-upholstered bench for buyers looking for fixed seating from Artek. Its defining feature is a closed seat surface, paired with a wood base in a birch color. The seat height and back height are not adjustable, and it has no armrests, headrest, or lumbar support.

Artek Bench Design and Materials

The closed seat design gives this bench a clearly defined seating surface without upholstery. That makes it a relevant option for buyers who prefer a non-upholstered chair or bench, while helping set expectations for anyone seeking a padded or fabric-covered seat.

Its base is made of wood and has a birch color. The supplied details do not identify a specific wood species, so the material description is best understood as a wooden base with a birch-colored finish rather than a confirmed birch-wood construction. This distinction can help when matching the bench to other furniture or specifying materials for a space.

Fixed Bench Seating Features

The 153A is a fixed seating choice rather than an adjustable chair. It has no seat-height, seat-depth, or back-height adjustment, so it may suit buyers who want a simple, set configuration; it is less suitable when multiple users need to tailor those dimensions to their preferences.

There are no armrests, headrest, or lumbar support. Buyers who prioritize those support features should factor their absence into a seating decision, while those comparing straightforward bench seating can use the details to understand what the model does—and does not—provide. The closed seat surface is the central design feature, not a collection of adjustable ergonomic options.

Artek 153A Bench Ownership Details

The listed maximum ballast is 135 kg, giving buyers a stated load figure to consider when assessing suitability. The bench comes with a two-year warranty, a useful reference point when comparing ownership terms with other seating options.

Artek identifies the product as circular, although the available information does not explain which construction or lifecycle aspects that designation covers. The bench is therefore a fit for shoppers who value that stated attribute and want a closed-seat, wood-based option, but who do not require further circularity details from the product listing. Overall, the Artek 153A Closed Seat Bench is best assessed by its fixed configuration, lack of upholstery, wood base, and clearly stated load and warranty information.
