Alea Open Storage Cabinet

Alea Open Storage Cabinet

The Alea Open Storage Cabinet is a freestanding metal storage cabinet for workplaces that need an open, standalone storage option. Its key differentiator is its open configuration, rather than a conventional closed cabinet layout. The product data also specifies a cylinder lock, while listing no shelves or hanging-file frames as included.

Metal Cabinet Design

Its metal cabinet construction gives buyers a clear material choice for everyday storage, while the freestanding format lets the unit be positioned as a standalone piece rather than specified for wall mounting. This can suit a workspace where storage needs to remain separate from built-in cabinetry.

The product information also names melamine as a shelf material, but separately states that no shelves are included. Plan on using the cabinet in its supplied configuration, and confirm shelf requirements before ordering if you need divided storage levels. No additional shelf is listed either.

Open Office Storage

The open cabinet format makes stored items visible without opening a cabinet door, which can be useful when the contents need to be identified at a glance. However, because no shelves or hanging-file frames are included, it is not specified as a ready-made filing cabinet or a compartmentalised storage system.

A cylinder lock is specified in the product data. Since the cabinet is described as open, check the precise configuration with the seller if locking access is essential to your purchase; the information does not clarify how the lock is used. The cabinet is also marked as non-acoustic, so it should be chosen for storage rather than sound absorption.

Color and Configuration

The Alea storage cabinet is listed in a broad range of color choices, spanning neutral tones such as white, grey, black, beige and brown, as well as brighter options including blue, green, red, yellow and orange. This gives buyers color families to consider when coordinating storage with an existing office palette. Check the available selection for the configuration you intend to order.

As an open, freestanding unit, it can be considered for general storage in an office or another work area where a standalone cabinet is suitable. Its best fit depends on what you plan to store: the open format supports visible storage, while the absence of included shelves and hanging-file frames limits the specified internal organisation. Choose it when that configuration matches your needs, rather than assuming it includes fitted filing or shelving accessories.
