The Cappellini Coffee Table Extra-Matt Lacquered Table is a round coffee table for people furnishing a seating area with a distinctive, color-led accent. Designed by Antrei Hartikainen in 2025, it combines an extra-matt lacquered melamine top with a blue steel column base, setting its compact circular form apart from more conventional rectangular tables.
The round tabletop gives this Cappellini coffee table a compact footprint, making it a considered option where a seating arrangement calls for a small surface rather than a larger dining or work table. Its single column base keeps the support visually centered beneath the top, while the circular outline brings a softer shape to a room’s furniture layout.
The surface is offered in orange, wood, blue, yellow, pink, red, brown, green, and grey. This range lets you choose between a vivid accent and a more subdued tone, while the blue steel base remains a consistent contrasting detail. The extra-matt finish gives the table a low-sheen appearance rather than a glossy look.
The tabletop is made from melamine, and the base is steel. Together, these materials create a clearly defined contrast between the broad surface and the supporting column. The extra-matt lacquered finish makes the tabletop’s color and shape central to the design without relying on decorative detailing.
At coffee-table scale, the top is suited to placing items within reach of nearby seating. The product is not linkable, so it should be considered as an individual table rather than one intended to connect with matching units. A two-year warranty is included for added clarity when planning a purchase.
This Cappellini round coffee table is suited to seating areas where a compact surface and a strong color choice are priorities. Its scale makes it a natural consideration for a lounge or reception setting, as well as a home seating area; the available information does not specify a particular room or installation requirement.
The table is suitable for a cable tray, but a tray is not included. That distinction is useful when planning a setup that may need cable management: the table can accommodate a compatible tray, but it does not arrive ready with one. Choose this design for its circular top, extra-matt finish, and blue column base, and select a surface color to suit the surrounding furniture.
