Cappellini LX 17 OP Sideboard Two Doors Cabinet

Cappellini LX 17 OP Sideboard Two Doors Cabinet

The Cappellini LX 17 OP Sideboard Two Doors Cabinet is a freestanding metal storage cabinet designed for workspaces that need enclosed storage with a refined, understated look. Its two doors, matt lacquered finish and cylinder lock distinguish it from open shelving, while a choice of colors and height options helps it suit different office layouts.

LX 17 OP Sideboard Design

Designed by Giulio Cappellini for the LX collection, this sideboard combines a metal cabinet with a matt lacquered finish. The muted surface keeps the appearance visually restrained, making the cabinet easy to consider alongside a range of office furnishings without relying on a glossy or highly decorative look.

Choose from beige, black, brown, grey or white to coordinate the storage with the surrounding room. Its elongated sideboard form gives the piece a clear presence along a wall, while the available height options offer flexibility when choosing how the cabinet relates to nearby furniture and the space around it.

Enclosed Office Storage

Two doors keep stored items behind a closed front, helping maintain a tidier appearance than open storage when papers or everyday work materials are not in use. The cylinder lock provides a way to lock the cabinet, a useful consideration when you want its contents kept closed between uses.

This is general cabinet storage rather than a filing cabinet configured for hanging folders: hanging file frames are not included. If your priority is to store items behind doors instead of suspending files in frames, the LX 17 OP offers a straightforward alternative. Its freestanding construction also means it does not need to be mounted to a wall.

For Offices And Shared Spaces

The Cappellini LX 17 OP sideboard can be considered for an office, meeting room or home office where enclosed storage and a furniture-style profile are useful. In an open-plan workspace, its doors help keep stored contents out of sight, while its freestanding format allows it to be positioned as part of the room’s storage arrangement.

Although the closed cabinet front can make a storage area look more orderly, this model is not an acoustic product and should not be chosen to reduce workplace noise. The matt lacquered metal finish, two-door configuration and lock make it best suited to buyers seeking a freestanding, lockable sideboard for general storage rather than acoustic separation or hanging-file organization.
