The Callidus Corner Compact Worktop kitchen cabinet from Callidus by Wünsche is a freestanding corner unit for indoor kitchens and kitchenettes, combining a compact worktop with a splash guard. Its defining feature is a black 12 mm compact surface above a metal cabinet with a white exterior and white splash guard.
The corner format brings a work surface and cabinet storage together in one unit, making it a practical choice when planning a kitchen corner. As a freestanding cabinet, it does not need to be hung on a wall, so you can position it as part of your kitchen layout without relying on wall-mounted installation.
The 12 mm compact worktop provides a defined surface directly above the cabinet. This integrated arrangement keeps the worktop and storage in one footprint, which can help make a compact kitchen or kitchenette easier to organise. The black worktop contrasts with the white exterior for a clear visual distinction between the working surface and cabinet.
A white splash guard sits behind the worktop to help protect the wall from splashes during kitchen use. That built-in detail means the cabinet includes a practical boundary at the back of the surface rather than leaving the wall directly exposed behind it. The metal cabinet body provides a sturdy structure for everyday indoor kitchen storage.
The Callidus Corner Compact Worktop kitchen cabinet includes a cylinder lock, giving you a way to secure the cabinet contents. This is useful when kitchen supplies or other stored items need to be kept behind a lock rather than left openly accessible. The cabinet is supplied without hanging folder frames, so it is configured for kitchen storage rather than suspended filing.
Plan the unit as a cabinet and work surface, not as a fitted cooking or sink station. Built-in appliances, an appliance compartment, a hob and a sink-side configuration are not possible for this model. Knowing these limits helps you decide whether it suits your kitchenette layout before planning appliance positions around it.
With its corner shape, freestanding construction, compact worktop and splash guard, this Callidus by Wünsche kitchen cabinet is suited to indoor kitchen areas where a combined storage unit and surface are needed. It is not specified as outdoor-suitable, so it should be considered for an indoor kitchen or kitchenette rather than an exterior cooking area. The simple combination of metal cabinet, white exterior and black worktop makes the key materials and finishes easy to assess when matching it with the surrounding kitchen.
