FAMO Storage Cabinet

FAMO Storage Cabinet

The FAMO Storage Cabinet is a freestanding metal storage cabinet for offices and other work areas that need organised, enclosed storage. Its sliding doors, four shelves and cylinder lock distinguish it from open shelving, while a choice of widths and colours helps teams select an option that suits their space and interior.

Metal Cabinet with Sliding Doors

Sliding doors let you access the cabinet without needing the doors to swing out into the room, making this design practical where clearance in front of storage is limited. As a freestanding cabinet, it can be positioned without wall mounting, so the layout can be planned around the furniture and circulation needs of the workspace.

The metal cabinet is offered in several width options and a broad selection of colours, including neutral shades such as white, grey, black and beige, as well as green, blue, red and other colours. Wood-toned options are also available, giving you a way to coordinate the cabinet with different office colour schemes without mistaking the finish for a wood construction.

Everyday Organised Storage

Four shelves provide separate levels for keeping everyday items organised behind closed doors. This layout is suited to belongings that can be stored on shelves; the cabinet does not include hanging file frames, so it is not a hanging-folder filing cabinet. Consider this distinction when choosing storage for documents that need to remain in suspension files.

A cylinder lock allows the cabinet to be locked, which is useful when stored contents should not be freely accessible. The product data does not specify a security rating or the number of keys, so choose it for its lockable storage function rather than a particular level of protection.

This is a conventional storage cabinet, not an acoustic unit. It does not provide acoustic treatment, so it should not be selected to reduce noise or create sound separation in an open-plan office. Its role is to keep items stored out of sight, rather than to change the sound conditions of a room.

Choosing a FAMO Office Cabinet

For a workspace that needs enclosed, shelf-based storage, the FAMO cabinet combines a freestanding format with sliding access, a lock and four shelves. The multiple width and colour choices help with fitting it into a planned layout and coordinating it with nearby furniture. Before ordering, check that the chosen width fits the intended position and that shelf storage—not hanging-file storage or acoustic performance—matches your requirements.
