FAMO Storage Cabinet

FAMO Storage Cabinet

The FAMO Storage Cabinet is a freestanding metal office cabinet with sliding doors and a cylinder lock, designed for people who need enclosed storage in a workplace. Its sliding-door format is the key differentiator: doors move across the cabinet rather than swinging outward, helping keep access practical where floor space is limited.

Sliding Door Office Storage

Sliding doors make this FAMO storage cabinet a useful choice beside desks or in shared office areas where an opening door could get in the way. You can reach the cabinet contents without needing to allow for a door to swing into a walkway or adjacent workspace.

The freestanding design gives you flexibility in where to position the cabinet, without specifying a wall-mounted installation. Use it as an office storage cabinet or dresser-style unit when you want belongings kept out of sight but accessible nearby. The cylinder lock lets you lock the doors, which can help limit access to stored items.

This cabinet is made from metal, offering an alternative to wood-based office storage. It is available in several widths, so you can choose a proportion that suits the space you have; the product data does not specify internal shelf arrangements or storage capacity.

Colors And Practical Details

Choose from neutral shades such as beige, white, grey, black or brown, or consider green, blue, orange or red for a more noticeable color. This range makes it easier to coordinate a metal storage cabinet with different office palettes without relying on a single finish.

The handle is aluminium with a chrome appearance, adding a distinct metallic detail to the sliding doors. Together, the metal cabinet body, sliding access and lock provide clear functional choices for everyday office storage, without implying a particular interior layout or security rating.

Suitable Office Uses

The FAMO cabinet can suit an office or other work area where freestanding, lockable storage is useful. It can be placed near a workstation or in a shared space to keep items contained while maintaining access without outward-opening doors. Its range of colors also supports coordination with different workplace schemes.

Consider what you need to store before choosing this model: it does not include hanging file frames, so it is not configured for suspended hanging folders. It is also not an acoustic cabinet, so it should not be selected for sound absorption or noise reduction. For general enclosed storage, its sliding doors, cylinder lock and freestanding format are the defining features to weigh against your available space and storage needs.
