FAMO Storage Cabinet

FAMO Storage Cabinet

The FAMO Storage Cabinet is a freestanding metal office storage cabinet for workplaces that need enclosed, lockable storage without doors swinging into nearby space. Its sliding-door design is the key differentiator, while a cylinder lock provides a way to secure stored contents. It suits offices looking for practical storage in a choice of colors and widths.

Sliding Door Office Storage

Sliding doors move across the cabinet rather than opening outwards, making access practical where space in front of the cabinet is limited. This configuration can help keep nearby walkways and work areas clear while still giving users access to the contents.

The cabinet is freestanding, so it can be positioned as a separate storage unit rather than being specified as a wall-mounted cabinet. Available in multiple widths, it offers flexibility when matching storage to the space available. Its medium-height format provides an enclosed cabinet option without taking the form of a full-height storage unit.

Metal Build and Lockable Access

Metal construction gives the cabinet a clearly defined, durable material choice for everyday office storage. A cylinder lock lets users secure items behind the sliding doors, which is useful when access should be controlled rather than left open to anyone passing by.

The cabinet has no hanging folder frames, so it is not configured for storing suspended files. Choose it for general enclosed cabinet storage instead of a filing cabinet designed around hanging folders. It is also not an acoustic cabinet, so its role is storage rather than sound management.

Colors and Office Fit

Color options span white, beige, grey, black, wood, green, blue, brown, orange and red. This broad palette makes it possible to select a neutral tone for a restrained office scheme or a more distinctive color to coordinate with the workplace’s existing furniture.

An aluminum handle with a chrome finish provides a contrasting detail at the point of access. Consider the FAMO Storage Cabinet when you need freestanding, lockable office storage, prefer sliding doors to outward-opening doors, and do not require hanging-file frames or acoustic performance. Its range of widths and colors helps tailor the choice to the available space and interior.
