FAMO Storage Cabinet

FAMO Storage Cabinet

The FAMO Storage Cabinet is a freestanding metal storage cabinet with sliding doors, designed for workplaces that need enclosed everyday storage. Its key differentiator is the combination of space-saving sliding access and a cylinder lock, so items can be kept behind closed doors without requiring the doors to swing out into the room.

Metal Cabinet Design

This FAMO cabinet combines a metal cabinet body with a sliding-door configuration and dresser-style classification. The doors move across the cabinet front rather than opening outward, which can make access easier to plan in areas where people or furniture are close by.

Color options span beige, white, grey, black, wood, green, blue, brown, orange and red. This broad range gives buyers a choice of neutral tones or more noticeable colors when coordinating storage with the surrounding workspace.

Sliding Doors and Locking

The sliding doors provide access to the cabinet contents while keeping the door panels within the cabinet’s front footprint. That arrangement can be useful where a hinged door’s outward swing would interfere with nearby circulation or furniture.

A cylinder lock lets users secure the closed cabinet, helping keep stored items out of casual reach. The product data does not specify the lock’s security rating or keying arrangement, so buyers should confirm those details if they are important for their storage needs.

This model is not supplied with hanging file frames, so it is not configured for suspended hanging-folder storage. It is better suited to items that can be stored directly inside the cabinet; the product data does not specify internal shelves or other fittings.

Choosing a Workspace Fit

As a freestanding storage cabinet, the FAMO model can be positioned as an individual piece rather than relying on wall mounting. Its sliding-door design may be a practical consideration for office areas where access space in front of storage is limited.

The cabinet is listed as non-acoustic, so it should be chosen for enclosed storage rather than sound absorption or acoustic separation. For a buyer comparing cabinets for an office, the main decision points are whether sliding access, a cylinder lock, the available color range and the absence of hanging file frames match the intended contents and placement.
