Martela 4006981 Default Upholstered Sofa

The Martela 4006981 Default Upholstered Sofa is a two-seater upholstered sofa for office seating, combining Gabriel Cura fabric, armrests and a glides base in a fixed, non-adjustable design. It suits buyers looking for Martela fabric seating with a defined two-person configuration rather than adjustable chair controls, and comes in several familiar color families.

Martela Sofa Design and Upholstery

Gabriel Cura fabric is the specified upholstery, giving the sofa a fabric-covered finish rather than an exposed-seat design. The available colors are grey, black, brown, yellow, blue and green, so you can choose a shade that coordinates with an existing office palette.

The glides provide a floor-contact base without a wheeled configuration. Martela also identifies this sofa as circular; the supplied information does not give further details about what that designation involves, so it is best treated as a product attribute rather than a specific materials or end-of-life claim.

Two-Seater Sofa Features

This model is configured for two people and includes armrests, giving seated users a place to rest their arms. Its seat height, back height and seat depth are not adjustable, so it is better suited to buyers who want a straightforward fixed configuration than to those who need to tailor the seating position.

The sofa has no listed lumbar support or headrest. That makes it important to consider whether those features are needed for the way people will use the seating; they should not be expected from this model. The listed maximum load is 135 kg, and the product comes with a two-year warranty.

Choosing This Office Sofa

Choose the Martela 4006981 Default Upholstered Sofa when a two-person fabric sofa with armrests and a glides base matches your seating requirements. Its defined configuration can make selection simpler when adjustable seat controls are not a priority, while the range of colors offers flexibility when coordinating the sofa with other office furniture.

For a buyer comparing this sofa with an adjustable office chair, the key distinction is its fixed two-seater format: it does not offer adjustable seat height, back height or seat depth, lumbar support, or a headrest. The product information does not specify cleaning instructions or standards, so confirm any particular care or compliance requirements before purchase.
