Artek 65 Chair

Artek 65 Chair

The Artek 65 Chair is a multipurpose chair by Artek for people looking for straightforward, fixed seating in an office or home setting. Its key differentiator is its unupholstered birch construction: a birch-veneer seat sits on wood legs finished in natural birch lacquer, giving the chair a clear material identity without adjustable mechanisms or added upholstery.

Birch Materials And Finish

The seat is made from birch veneer, while the legs are lacquered natural birch. This combination makes the wood itself the defining part of the chair, rather than a fabric or padded covering, and suits buyers who prefer a simple, unupholstered seat.

The listed base color choices include wood, black, white and blue, so you can select a finish direction that works with the surrounding furniture. The chair has no upholstery; its seat material is birch veneer, so upholstery color options do not apply to this model.

Fixed Multipurpose Seating

The Artek 65 Chair has no mechanism and does not offer adjustable seat height, back height or seat depth. That fixed setup keeps the choice simple, but it also means you cannot adapt the chair to different users through built-in adjustments; check that its seating position suits the person and task before choosing it.

It has no armrests, headrest or lumbar support, and its seat is not upholstered. These details matter if you are comparing it with an ergonomic office chair: the 65 is a multipurpose chair with a straightforward configuration, rather than a model with adjustable support or padded contact surfaces. Its stated maximum load is 135 kg.

For Offices And Home Settings

As a multipurpose chair, the Artek 65 can be considered for different seating needs around a workplace or home, including a meeting area, shared office or home office. Its unupholstered, fixed design is most relevant when you want a simple chair and do not need adjustment features; it is not the choice for someone seeking height adjustment, lumbar support or armrests.
