The Boss Design Boss Atom Ato L A Low-Back Without Armrests Modular Sofa is a six-piece lounge seating configuration for shared office spaces and other settings that need modular seating. Its low back and arm-free design give the arrangement a distinct, open profile, while Kvadrat Remix fabric upholstery is available in a range of color families.
This Atom collection sofa is specified as a closed, six-piece configuration, giving buyers a defined seating arrangement rather than a single standalone chair. As a modular sofa, it belongs to the configurations category and is intended for lounge use, making it a considered option for office seating areas where a coordinated sofa arrangement is needed.
The low-back, armless design keeps the outline visually open and avoids armrests between seating positions. That format may suit spaces where occupants want lounge seating without the more enclosed appearance of individual armchairs. It is not an adjustable task chair: the seat height, back height and seat depth are not adjustable, and it has no lumbar support or headrest.
Upholstery is fabric, using Kvadrat Remix. Available upholstery color families include brown, grey, beige, green, orange, red, black and blue, so the sofa can be considered alongside a range of interior palettes. The fabric finish also means the visible seating surface is upholstered rather than a bare hard surface.
As a lounge chair and modular sofa, the Boss Design Atom can be considered for office lounge settings where a low-back configuration is preferred. Its six-piece arrangement provides a sofa-style seating solution; the product data does not specify dimensions or independent piece movement, so check the planned layout against the space before ordering.
The stated maximum ballast is 135 kg, and the product has a two-year warranty. Fire resistance is listed as BS 5852 Crib 5, giving buyers a specific fire-resistance detail to consider when selecting upholstered seating for a workplace. An Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is available, and the product is identified as circular.
This Boss Design Atom modular sofa is a practical match for buyers prioritising a fabric-upholstered, low-back configuration without armrests. Its listed details make it possible to compare the sofa against requirements for fire resistance, environmental documentation and warranty, while its fixed seating features help clarify that it is intended for lounge use rather than adjustable desk work.
