Cappellini Gong Coffee Table

Cappellini Gong Coffee Table

The Cappellini Gong Coffee Table is a round coffee table designed by Giulio Cappellini for offices and other interiors that need a low, central surface. Its defining combination is a melamine top available in black or white with a black steel column base, giving buyers a choice of tabletop color while keeping the base finish consistent.

Gong Coffee Table Design and Materials

The circular tabletop gives this Cappellini coffee table a simple shape that works well as a central surface in a lounge or reception area. Its compact proportions suit spaces where a useful tabletop is wanted without the visual presence of a large rectangular table.

A melamine top offers a clear, finished surface for placing everyday items, while the steel base introduces a contrasting material beneath it. Choose black for a coordinated, darker look or white when a lighter tabletop better fits the surrounding interior; either option comes with the same black base.

Round Table for Office Spaces

Gong’s round form makes it a natural choice where people gather around a coffee table rather than sit along one side of a desk. Use it in an office lounge, reception space or another area arranged for informal conversation, keeping in mind that it is a coffee table rather than a linkable meeting table.

The column-frame construction gives the table a central support instead of a set of legs at the corners. This keeps the design visually straightforward and makes the round surface the focus. The table is not linkable, so it is best considered as an individual piece rather than part of a connected table arrangement.

Practical Details and Setup

The Gong coffee table is suitable for a cable tray, but a tray is not included. That compatibility is useful if your setup calls for cable management; check the tray requirements separately before selecting accessories, rather than assuming that cable storage comes with the table.

Designed by Giulio Cappellini, the model pairs a restrained circular profile with a defined material contrast, making it easy to assess against an existing interior palette. A two-year warranty is provided. If you are choosing the Cappellini Gong Coffee Table for a professional setting, compare the available tabletop colors with nearby furnishings and consider whether its standalone format suits the way the space will be used.
