The Cappellini Low Lounge Armchair is a fabric-upholstered lounge chair for people furnishing office or other lounge spaces. Designed by Jasper Morrison, it combines a low lounge-chair form with a five-spoke swivel base, giving buyers a distinctive alternative to conventional office seating without adjustable seat or back components.
Jasper Morrison’s design is identified with the LOW model, with designer dates listed as 2005 / 2009 and 2006 / 2007 in the product data. Its low lounge profile makes it a considered choice when a room calls for relaxed seating rather than an adjustable task chair.
The upholstery is fabric, specified as Steelcut Trio. That gives the chair a textile finish for interiors where upholstered lounge seating is preferred; no upholstery color is specified. The metal base is listed in silver or black, and the structure finish is polished aluminum, so buyers can compare the available base appearance with the surrounding furniture.
This is a fixed-height lounge chair: the seat height, back height and seat depth are not adjustable. That straightforward configuration suits buyers who do not need task-chair adjustments and want a consistent seat position for lounge use.
The listed five-spoke swivel base lets a seated person turn while remaining in place, while the product data specifies no wheels. The chair has no stated lumbar support or headrest, so it is best assessed as lounge seating rather than a chair intended to provide adjustable ergonomic support. Maximum ballast is 135 kg.
Armrest information in the product data is inconsistent, so confirm the armrest configuration before ordering if it matters to your space or seating preference.
The Cappellini Low Lounge Armchair can be considered for office lounge areas and other settings where a dedicated lounge chair is needed. Its fixed setup and swivel base make the intended use clear: relaxed seating with the ability to turn, rather than a chair designed for frequent posture or height adjustment.
Product data marks the chair as circular, without providing further details about what that designation covers. A two-year warranty is specified. Origin information is available on request, which is useful to know if you need to check provenance before making a purchase.
