Cassina Round Pedestal Base Table

Cassina Round Pedestal Base Table

The Cassina Runden Round Pedestal Base Table is a glass-top table designed for four people, combining a round surface with a steel column pedestal. It suits users seeking a shared table with open space around the seating area, and its available top and base colors make it possible to coordinate the design with different interiors.

Glass Top and Steel Pedestal

The glass tabletop gives the Runden a distinct, light-looking surface, while the column base keeps the support concentrated beneath the table rather than at the outer edges. That pedestal arrangement leaves more freedom to position chairs around the table and makes it easier for four people to gather around one shared surface.

The tabletop is available in grey, blue or transparent finishes, with a black, silver or gold steel base. These combinations let you choose whether the table blends into an existing room palette or adds a visible color contrast, without changing its practical four-person format.

Four-Person Table Setup

With seating for four, the Runden is suited to small group conversations, shared work sessions or meals. Its round shape brings people around a common center, making it a natural option when face-to-face interaction matters more than arranging everyone along one side of a rectangular table.

The table is a fixed-height design rather than an adjustable-height model. It is not linkable, so it should be planned as an individual table instead of as part of a connected row. If cable management is needed, the table is suitable for a cable tray, but the tray is not included and must be arranged separately.

Where the Runden Fits

This four-person glass table can work in a meeting room, a shared office area or a home office where a compact group surface is useful. The choice of transparent, grey or blue glass and a black, silver or gold base also gives you flexibility when coordinating the table with other furnishings.

A glass top offers a smooth surface for everyday use; clean it with products suitable for glass to keep it presentable. The steel pedestal provides the table’s column-style support, and the product includes a two-year warranty. Consider the seating and cable-tray requirements of your space before choosing the Runden, as its tray is an optional addition rather than part of the supplied table.
