FAMO Desk With Upholstered Side Panel

FAMO Desk With Upholstered Side Panel

The FAMO Desk With Upholstered Side Panel Desk is a single-person, straight desk for individual work in an office or home office. Its rectangular melamine top is paired with a metal-and-wood base, while the upholstered side panel gives it a distinctive, softer-sided configuration than a standard straight desk. It is designed for one person, not for linking into a desk run.

Desk Design And Materials

The upholstered side panel sets this desk apart by adding a fabric-covered element to the desk’s side profile. This can suit a workspace where the look of the desk matters as well as its function; however, acoustic performance is not specified, so the panel should not be treated as a sound-absorbing feature.

The rectangular melamine surface provides a defined work area, and the metal-and-wood base combines the listed materials in one desk. Surface choices include white, black, grey, orange, red, beige, wood, green, blue and brown; base choices include wood, grey, silver, brown, white, black, orange, red and beige. This range makes it possible to coordinate the top and base with different office color schemes.

Practical Desk Setup

Cable-tray compatible, the desk can accommodate a cable tray for a setup that needs cable management beneath the work surface. The tray is not included, so it must be sourced separately if you want to use that option. Bluetooth control is not included, and the product information does not specify height adjustment or other ergonomic adjustment features.

The desk is available in several width choices, giving buyers a way to select a size suited to their available floor space and working needs. Its straight, single-user format is intended for an individual workstation rather than a shared or linked arrangement. A two-year warranty is specified.

FAMO Desk For Workspaces

This FAMO desk can be considered for an individual workstation in an office, meeting room or home office where a straight rectangular desk is appropriate. The upholstered side panel offers a different visual treatment from an all-hard-surface desk, while the choice of surface and base colors supports coordination with surrounding furniture.

Fabric options listed for the side panel include Heritage Anti-Stain, Step and Aquarius. The supplied product information does not give cleaning instructions, acoustic ratings or details about ergonomic adjustments, so check those requirements separately if they are important to your purchasing decision. The desk is marked as circular, but no further information about what that designation covers is provided.
