Götessons Design Group Lean Cantilever

The Götessons Design Group Lean cantilever chair is an upholstered, armless chair for people seeking a straightforward fixed seating option. Its Lean collection design pairs a black metal sled-style base with Focus fabric upholstery, offering a choice of upholstery colors. It is a considered option when adjustable features are not required.

The cantilever form and sled base define the chair’s configuration, while the black metal base provides a consistent dark finish. Because the frame material is not specified, the listed metal applies to the base only; this distinction helps when comparing chair construction details.

The armless design keeps the chair free of armrests, which may suit users who prefer an uncluttered seating profile or need to position chairs close together. It also means this model will not provide arm support, so consider that trade-off when choosing seating for longer periods.

Focus Fabric and Color Choices

Focus upholstery fabric gives the chair a fabric-covered finish, with listed upholstery colors spanning black, beige, grey, brown, orange, red, blue and green. These options make it easier to coordinate the chair with a range of color schemes without changing its black base.

Color availability can help distinguish seating zones or coordinate with existing office furniture. The supplied information does not identify a particular color as more suitable for a specific environment, so select based on the visual scheme and upholstery color you need.

Fixed Setup and Everyday Fit

This Götessons Design Group Lean cantilever chair has no adjustable seat height, back height or seat depth. It also has no lumbar support or headrest, so it is best considered by buyers who want a fixed chair rather than one with adjustable ergonomic features.

For office or shared seating, the key decision is whether its armless, non-adjustable setup matches the intended user and use. The chair is listed with a maximum ballast of 135 kg; check this stated limit against your requirements before selecting it.

The product is marked as circular and includes a two-year warranty. These details provide useful purchase information, but no further information is given about circularity criteria, maintenance, or the warranty’s specific coverage. The chair’s origin is available on request.
