The McBar is a rectangular bar-height table designed for shared office areas and informal group settings. Its elongated surface provides a common place for meetings, collaborative work and conversations, with seating capacity for up to eight people. The elevated format offers an alternative to a standard-height meeting table and can help establish a distinct gathering point within an open-plan space.
The tabletop is made from melamine and is available in beige, brown, grey and black. These surface colors make it possible to coordinate the table with different office schemes. Its steel base is available in black or silver, allowing the support to blend with the tabletop or provide a contrasting finish. The rectangular form is suited to group use where a shared, continuous work surface is preferred.
A panel-leg frame gives the table a defined base. The table is not adjustable, so its fixed height is best suited to spaces where that working level fits the intended activities. Consider the height and format in relation to how people will use the table, particularly if the space is intended for seated work.
The bar-height design is a useful option for standing meetings and informal group interactions. It provides a shared work surface while creating a different gathering arrangement from a standard-height meeting table. The table is not linkable, making it a standalone piece rather than a unit designed to connect with matching tables.
The McBar is suitable for a cable tray, which can help accommodate cable management when required. A cable tray is not included, so it can be selected separately to suit the setup. This makes it possible to plan cable management according to the needs of the space without assuming an accessory is supplied with the table.
Consider this table for an open-plan office, meeting area or another shared space where an elevated format and group-sized surface suit the way people gather. Its capacity for eight supports collaborative sessions, while the choice of tabletop and base colors offers flexibility when coordinating an office scheme. The product comes with a two-year warranty.
