HAY Passerelle Crossbar Desk

HAY Passerelle Crossbar Desk

The HAY Passerelle Crossbar Desk is a straight, rectangular desk for furnishing a work point in an office or home workspace. Its defining crossbar is paired with a lacquered oak top and a wood-and-metal base, bringing together contrasting materials in a straightforward, fixed-height configuration.

The lacquered oak tabletop provides the main work surface, while the straight legs and crossbar form the support structure. The crossbar is powder-coated, making it a distinct feature of the desk’s frame. This design may suit buyers looking for a desk with a defined supporting structure rather than a minimal, leg-only appearance.

The rectangular top provides a familiar surface for everyday desk use. The desk has a fixed configuration rather than an adjustable one, so consider whether its fixed height works for your chair and preferred working position. This is particularly worth checking if the desk will be used by people who need different work-surface heights.

The desk is suitable for a cable tray, allowing you to plan cable management as part of your workstation setup. A tray is not included, so it can be selected separately if you want to organise cables beneath the work surface.

This model does not link to other desks and has no Bluetooth control. Choose it as an individual straight desk, without connected controls or a linked desk arrangement. These details help clarify its configuration when comparing it with other workstation options.

Surface options include beige, red, transparent, brown and black; base options include beige, red, transparent, black and green. The separate option lists make it important to check the selected finish for each part when coordinating the desk with a room.

As a HAY Passerelle desk, it can be considered for office and home-workspace layouts where a straight, rectangular work surface is suitable. The product is listed as circular and comes with a two-year warranty. Consider these stated product details alongside the desk’s fixed height and individual configuration when deciding whether it suits your workspace.
