The Voortman Double-Sided Steel Doors Storage Cabinet is a freestanding office storage cabinet for workplaces that need access from either side. Its steel doors and steel back panel distinguish it from a cabinet designed for one-sided access, while a cylinder lock provides a way to secure the contents. It is made from steel and wood.
Access from both sides makes this cabinet useful when people approach it from different directions, such as in a shared work area. It can help keep stored items reachable without requiring users to gather at one front-facing door, making the cabinet a practical choice for arranging storage within a room.
The steel back panel gives the cabinet a finished metal surface on its reverse side, rather than an open back. This matters when placing it where both sides are visible or used. As a freestanding unit, it can be positioned as part of a room layout without being specified as a wall-mounted cabinet.
The cabinet combines a metal body and steel doors with wood components, including a wood side panel. This mix brings distinct material finishes into an office interior: metal across the doors and back, with wood at the side. Listed color choices span neutral tones such as white, grey, brown and black, as well as purple and green.
A cylinder lock lets users lock the doors, which is useful when stored items should not remain openly accessible. The supplied door-material details also include acoustic foam. No acoustic rating or measured sound reduction is provided, so the foam should not be treated as a quantified soundproofing feature.
This Voortman storage cabinet is specified as a single cabinet and does not include hanging folder frames. It is therefore suited to general storage rather than a filing setup that depends on suspended folders. Consider the kind of items you plan to store and the two-sided access before choosing its position in an office or shared room.
The product information does not specify shelves or internal divisions, so check those details if your storage plan depends on a particular interior arrangement. It also has no top panel or planter box. That helps clarify what is included: a freestanding, double-sided cabinet with steel doors, a steel back panel and a cylinder lock, rather than a cabinet configured with those additional top or planter features.
