Voortman Extension Desk

Voortman Extension Desk

The Voortman Extension Desk is a one-person desk from Voortman, intended for an individual workspace where an extension-style table configuration is needed. Its defining combination is an 18 mm melamine top and a steel base, with several tabletop shapes and color families available to suit different office schemes.

Desk Design and Materials

The desk’s 18 mm melamine surface provides a practical tabletop for everyday individual work, while the steel base gives the construction a durable supporting material. In the listed configuration, the top has a wood-toned, textured finish and the base is white, bringing a neutral look to an office without relying on a bright or highly decorative color.

Tabletop shapes include round, corner and semi-oval leaves, so buyers can choose a profile suited to their intended layout and preferred working area. Surface color families include beige, brown, white, grey and wood, while base color choices include beige, silver, white, black and grey; this range makes it easier to coordinate the desk with existing office furniture.

Individual Workspace Function

Designed for one person, this extension desk is suited to a single-user workstation rather than a shared multi-person table. It is not adjustable, so it is best considered by buyers who do not need to change the desk’s height as part of their working setup.

The desk is suitable for a cable tray, helping users plan for cable management beneath the work surface, but the tray is not included. That distinction lets you check compatibility with a cable tray you already have or budget for one separately, rather than assuming cable storage comes with the desk.

Planning Your Office Setup

As a Voortman desk, this model can be considered for an individual office workspace where its extension format and chosen leaf shape fit the furniture plan. The choice of tabletop and base colors also supports coordination across work areas, whether you prefer a light neutral finish, a darker base, or a wood-toned surface.

Choose this table when you want a one-person desk with a steel base, a melamine work surface and the option to select among distinct tabletop profiles. A two-year warranty is included, giving buyers a defined warranty period for planning their purchase and ongoing office use.
