The VARIO M1 Base Storage Frame Element is a metal storage unit for workplaces that need a base element either freestanding or integrated with compatible furniture. Its defining combination is flexible placement and a cylinder lock, making it a practical option for organising everyday items while allowing access to be restricted.
Metal construction gives this VARIO M1 storage frame element a sturdy cabinet format for workplace storage. Its base configuration is intended for use as a freestanding unit or for integration, so it can support different furniture layouts rather than requiring one fixed arrangement.
The unit is available in a choice of blue, beige, orange, white, grey, black, yellow, green and red. These options make it easier to coordinate the storage with a room’s existing colour scheme, whether you prefer a neutral look or a more noticeable accent.
The base element is listed for use freestanding, as a dresser, or for integration with a sliding-door cabinet. This gives offices more than one way to position the storage: use it on its own, or include it in a broader cabinet arrangement where that configuration suits the space.
Its proportions are designed around a compact base-unit format, and the available depth options provide some flexibility when planning placement. Check the selected configuration against the intended location and adjoining furniture before ordering, so the unit fits the layout you have in mind.
A cylinder lock lets users secure the cabinet contents when they are not in use. This can be useful for everyday workplace items that should not remain openly accessible, while the straightforward storage format keeps the unit suitable for general cabinet use.
This model does not include hanging folder frames, so it is not configured for storing suspended files. It is also not specified as an acoustic product; choose it for its storage role rather than as a sound-absorbing screen or divider.
For an office, meeting area or other work setting that needs a versatile base cabinet, the VARIO M1 Base Storage Frame Element offers a choice of placement, colours and a lockable format. Its metal construction and integration options make it possible to plan storage around the furniture arrangement, while the absence of hanging frames clarifies that it is intended for general cabinet storage.
