FAMO Smile SM Rec Rectangular Desk

FAMO Smile SM Rec Rectangular Desk

The FAMO Smile SM Rec Rectangular Desk is a one-person desk for individual work at home or in an office. Its distinguishing features are a choice of straight or corner desk configurations, a rectangular top and a steel T-leg frame. Choose from multiple top materials, colors and width options to suit your workspace.

Rectangular Desk Design and Materials

This FAMO rectangular desk has a rectangular work surface in either melamine or oak. That choice lets you select the tabletop material that best fits your preferred look and everyday workspace needs, while the range of surface colors includes white, beige, grey, black, wood, green, blue and brown.

The steel T-leg base is available in white, black, grey, orange, red, beige, green or brown. Matching the base to the surface can create a coordinated appearance, while contrasting colors let the desk stand out as an individual workstation. Several width options are available, so you can consider the available workspace alongside the floor area you have.

Fixed Setup and Cable Options

The desk is not height-adjustable, so its working height cannot be changed using the desk itself. Consider whether a fixed-height desk suits the person who will use it and the rest of their workstation before choosing it. It is specified for one person, making it a clear choice for an individual work area rather than a shared multi-person table.

A cable tray can be fitted, but it is not included. This gives you the option to add compatible cable management separately if you want cables routed beneath the desk; remember to plan for that additional component when comparing setups. The desk is not linkable, so it is not intended to connect with other desks as a linked table run.

Workspaces and Configuration

With straight and corner desk types available, the Smile SM Rec can be considered for a standalone workstation or a corner work area. Its individual-user specification suits a home office, private office or a one-person station in a larger workplace. Choose the configuration according to the layout of your room and how you need the desk to sit within it.

The design keeps the buying decision focused on the essentials: a rectangular top, a steel T-leg base, a choice of melamine or oak, and a fixed-height setup. FAMO provides a two-year warranty, which gives you a stated warranty period to consider when planning an office furniture purchase. If you need adjustable height, a supplied cable tray or linked desk arrangements, those features are not included in this model’s specifications.
