The Götessons Design Group Gotessons Design Group G Tessons Group Sandy Backrest is an upholstered lounge chair with a rounded seat and curved backrest. Fabric upholstery and a wood base give it a soft seating surface and a distinctive foundation. Its fixed lounge-chair design makes it an option for office lounges and shared spaces where stationary seating is suitable, rather than a chair intended for adjustable task seating.
The chair’s rounded form gives it a defined profile, while the curved upholstered back provides a shaped surface as part of the design. The fabric covering offers a softer look than an unupholstered chair, and the wood base creates a material contrast. Listed upholstery colors are beige, grey and black. Listed base colors include beige, white, brown, black and wood, offering options to coordinate the chair with an existing interior palette.
This model does not have an adjustment mechanism, adjustable seat height, adjustable back height or adjustable seat depth. Its fixed configuration is suited to settings where straightforward lounge seating is preferred over a chair that can be adjusted for different working postures. The chair also has no armrests, headrest or lumbar support, so consider those absences when choosing seating for the intended use.
The curved backrest forms part of the chair’s overall lounge design, but it does not provide adjustable back support. The Sandy Backrest is therefore best considered as a fixed upholstered seating option, rather than a task chair with ergonomic adjustment features. Its rounded silhouette and fabric finish can contribute a relaxed visual tone to an office lounge or other shared setting.
The listed maximum load is 135 kg. The product is identified as circular and comes with a two-year warranty. Origin information is available on request, so contact the seller if origin is relevant to your purchase. When comparing this chair with other lounge seating, consider its fabric-and-wood construction, listed colors, fixed configuration and stated load limit to determine whether it meets the needs of your space.
