The Götessons Design Group Sandy Sofa with backrest is a curved modular lounge sofa designed for office lounge areas and other spaces that need dedicated sofa seating. Its curved form, backrest and wood base define the design. It is part of the Sandy collection and is presented as lounge furniture rather than an adjustable task chair.
The curved shape offers an alternative to a straight sofa where the seating area calls for a different profile. The product is described as modular, and this model has a backrest. Upholstery is listed as Category 2 Era fabric in a tonal finish. The stated upholstery color choices are beige, grey and black, allowing the sofa to coordinate with a range of room palettes.
A wood base is specified, with beige, white, brown, black and wood listed as base color choices. The combination of fabric upholstery and a wood base provides the principal material and finish details supplied for this model. No particular room layout or seating configuration is specified, so buyers should consider the intended arrangement of their space when selecting modular lounge seating.
The backrest provides a surface to lean against, distinguishing this sofa from a backless bench. The supplied product information does not list adjustable seat height, adjustable back height, adjustable seat depth, lumbar support or a headrest. It is therefore a fixed lounge sofa, not a chair designed to adapt to an individual working posture. Buyers seeking those adjustable or ergonomic features should take their absence into account.
The listed maximum ballast is 135 kg, and the stated warranty is two years. The product is also marked as circular in the supplied information. These details can be considered alongside the sofa’s materials and configuration when reviewing it for a lounge area. No specific cleaning instructions or certifications are provided, so buyers should not assume a particular maintenance method or certification. The supplied details describe a curved modular sofa with a backrest, tonal fabric upholstery and a wood base.
