The HAY Palissade Powder-Coated Bench is a steel bench from HAY’s Palissade collection for people seeking fixed, shared seating with a simple, non-upholstered specification. Its distinguishing feature is powder-coated steel construction, while the armless, unadjustable design makes it a straightforward choice for buyers who want a bench rather than seating with adjustable support or cushioning.
Steel is the defining material of this HAY Palissade bench, including its base, and the surface is powder-coated. That gives buyers a clear material and finish to consider when coordinating a bench with other furniture or choosing a distinct seating piece.
The bench has no upholstery, so there is no fabric or padded covering to factor into the selection. This makes it suitable for buyers specifically looking for a non-upholstered seat; those who prefer cushioning should consider that the product is supplied without it.
Color options listed for the base include grey, red, white, beige, green and silver. These choices let you select a neutral or more noticeable color direction, while the powder-coated steel construction keeps the material specification consistent across the listed options.
The Palissade Bench has no adjustment mechanism, and its seat height, seat depth and back height are not adjustable. This fixed format keeps the choice simple, but it is important to check that a non-adjustable bench suits the people and seating position you have in mind.
There are no armrests, headrest or lumbar support. In practical terms, this is a bench with a pared-back seating specification rather than a chair intended to provide adjustable or built-in body support. Choose it when those features are not requirements for your seating arrangement.
The stated maximum ballast is 135 kg, giving you a specific capacity figure to check against your intended use. A two-year warranty is also listed, providing a defined warranty period to take into account when comparing seating options.
As a bench rather than an adjustable chair, the HAY Palissade Powder-Coated Bench is best assessed by its material, fixed format and color selection. Its dimensions are not specified here, so check the product’s size separately if you need to confirm how it will fit your planned space.
The product is identified as circular, though no further details about that designation are provided. Its origin is available on request. Together, these details help clarify what is confirmed in the product information and what you may want to ask about before ordering.
