Humanscale Float FT Sit-Stand Floating Top Desk

Humanscale Float FT Sit-Stand Floating Top Desk

The Humanscale Float FT Sit-Stand Floating Top Desk is a manually adjustable desk for one person, designed for individual work at an office or home workstation. Its defining feature is a floating rectangular top paired with a T-leg frame, offering a sit-stand configuration in a clean white-and-silver color scheme.

Floating Top Desk Design

The rectangular floating top gives this Humanscale desk a straightforward work surface, while its melamine construction identifies the material used at the desktop. The white surface keeps the appearance light, and the steel base is available in silver or white, making it possible to choose a frame color that suits the surrounding workspace.

A T-leg base supports the single-user setup without making the desk linkable to another unit. That makes the Float FT a practical format to consider for an individual workstation rather than a connected run of desks. Multiple top-width and depth options are available, so buyers can select a proportion suited to their available floor and work-surface space.

Manual Sit-Stand Adjustment

The desk adjusts manually, using a loose hand crank for its counterbalance adjustment. This lets the user change between seated and standing desk positions without Bluetooth control or an electronic control system. The adjustment is a useful choice for people who want a sit-stand desk but prefer a manual operating method.

Because the Float FT is intended for one person, its sit-stand function is focused on an individual workstation. It can be considered for office or home-office use where a user wants the option to alternate between sitting and standing. The available product information does not specify an adjustment range, so check the selected configuration against the working positions you need.

Workspace Fit and Setup

The white melamine top and silver or white steel base provide a restrained palette for a private office, home office or individual station in a larger workplace. Its floating-top design distinguishes it from a conventional-looking desk, while the rectangular shape supports a familiar desk layout. The product is also identified as circular in its specifications.

The desk is suitable for a cable tray, which gives buyers the option to plan a separate tray-based cable setup. A cable tray is not specified consistently as included, and the listed configuration does not include horizontal or vertical cable management, so confirm what comes with the chosen version before ordering. Humanscale provides a two-year warranty for the Float FT Sit-Stand Floating Top Desk.
