The Vitra Eames Segmented Table is a conference table designed for meetings of up to six people. It pairs an oval tabletop with a distinctive segmented, boat-shaped base, creating a shared surface for team discussions, client conversations, and collaborative work. Its shape keeps the seating arrangement open while giving a meeting room a clear focal point.
The tabletop is made from melamine, and the supporting base is steel. The combination brings a practical work surface together with a structured support, while the oval profile offers a considered alternative to a rectangular meeting table. It suits a dedicated conference room or an open-plan office where a defined place to meet is useful.
A range of color choices helps coordinate the table with an office interior. Tabletop options include Grey, Brown, Beige, and White, while the base is available in Black or Silver. These choices make it possible to select a restrained palette or introduce contrast with surrounding furniture.
The table is not linkable, making it intended for a fixed conference arrangement rather than a configuration joined to other tables. It accommodates six people. The tabletop is supplied without cut-outs, so built-in openings for electrical connections are not part of this configuration.
The table is compatible with a cable tray, but the tray is not included. This allows cable management to be planned according to the room’s needs and meeting setup. Because the top has no cut-outs, the cable tray option should be considered separately from any requirement for built-in access to power or data connections.
For organizations seeking a Vitra conference table with a recognizable Eames design, this model combines a distinctive silhouette, material contrast, and finish choices for a workplace. It is suited to team meetings, client presentations, and recurring discussions around a shared table. The product includes a two-year warranty, providing a clear warranty period for workplace planning.
