The HAY Meeting Oblong Table is a fixed-height meeting table designed to provide teams with a generous shared work surface. Its oblong profile, white laminate tabletop and straight anodized aluminium legs create a clear central gathering point for meetings and collaborative work. The table measures 220 × 95 × 75 cm, according to the supplied product information.
The elongated tabletop gives people room to spread out papers and work materials during discussions, while its shape helps define a shared meeting area. It is suited to meeting rooms and collaborative office spaces where several people use one common surface. The white laminate top offers a light, neutral appearance for everyday meetings.
The apron, corners and four straight legs are made from anodized aluminium, providing a consistent metal detail beneath the tabletop. Designed by John Tree, the table belongs to HAY’s Annex collection. Its fixed-height construction provides a stable meeting surface, but it is not adjustable, so consider the height when planning the room and selecting furniture for its intended users.
Cable trays can be fitted to help manage cables for meeting equipment and devices. A cable tray is not included and must be selected separately to suit the room’s requirements. The table is not linkable, making it appropriate for a single-table layout rather than an arrangement of connected units.
The HAY Meeting Oblong Table can serve as the central surface for team discussions, project sessions and scheduled meetings. It may also suit an open office area set aside for collaborative work, provided its fixed height and single-table configuration fit the way the space will be used. The listed surface colors include white, grey, red, beige and transparent; listed base colors include silver, red, beige, black, grey and white.
This table offers a design-led option for workplaces seeking a substantial oblong meeting surface with a restrained top and aluminium frame. A two-year warranty is included, giving buyers a defined warranty period when specifying the table for an office project.
