The Ondarreta Tam Double Upholstered Bench is a two-person, backless bench from the Tam collection, designed for offices that need shared seating in a compact, straightforward format. Its fabric-upholstered seat distinguishes it from an unupholstered bench, while the choice of steel or wood base lets you select a look that suits the surrounding furniture.
Fabric upholstery gives the seat a covered, softer-feeling surface for everyday sitting, and the backless design keeps the profile visually open. Choose from red, beige, silver, black or brown upholstery options to coordinate with your office’s existing colors.
The bench is listed with a steel or wood base, with base color options spanning neutral shades and brighter colors. This range makes it easier to coordinate the seating with different interior palettes without changing the bench’s simple, backless form.
With two seats in one bench, the Tam Double is a practical option when you want shared seating rather than separate chairs. It can suit an office area where visitors or colleagues need a place to sit together, and its backless construction keeps the seating arrangement uncomplicated.
Choose this bench when a fixed seat is appropriate: it has no adjustment mechanism, and the seat height is not adjustable. It also has no backrest, lumbar support or headrest, so it is best considered for seating needs that do not require those features. Armrests are available as an option, allowing you to select the configuration that fits your space.
The Tam Double has a straightforward, non-adjustable setup rather than ergonomic controls. That makes it easy to assess against your seating requirements in advance: it provides two upholstered places to sit, with no seat-depth or back-height adjustment to manage.
Ondarreta lists the bench to EN 16139 Level 2, with a maximum ballast of 135 kg and a two-year warranty. The product details also identify it as circular. Together, these details help buyers compare this upholstered office bench with other fixed seating options while keeping the choice focused on its two-seat format, fabric finish and base configuration.
