The Ondarreta Tam Two-Seater Backless Bench is a double bench for shared seating in professional settings. Its open, backless format provides seating for two without individual chairs or a backrest. The structure includes steel, and the seat combines Fenix and birch plywood. The bench has no upholstery, headrest or lumbar support.
The Tam collection’s backless design leaves the seating area visually open and allows access from either side. Its two-seat format groups seating without requiring two separate chairs, making it suitable for shared areas where people may sit briefly or move between tasks. It is a fixed bench rather than an adjustable chair for extended, supported desk work.
Steel, Fenix and birch plywood bring contrasting materials together in a straightforward design. The listed base-color options include white, grey, blue, beige, black, brown, green and red. Upholstery color options include beige, red, blue, white, grey, black and green. There is no fabric upholstery, so the bench presents its seat materials directly.
The bench has no mechanism and no adjustable seat height or depth. Armrests are listed in both no and yes configurations, so check the selected configuration when ordering if arm support matters. Its fixed setup may suit areas where a consistent seating position is preferred, such as a shared office or waiting area.
As an office bench with two seats, the Tam can provide shared seating in a meeting space, reception area or open-plan office. Its backless form is best suited to tasks where a bench-style seat fits the need; buyers seeking posture support, recline or height adjustment may prefer a chair with those features. The product’s maximum ballast is 135 kg.
The Ondarreta Tam is identified as meeting EN 16139 Level 2 and carries a two-year warranty. It is also marked as circular. These details can support procurement decisions where a stated standard, warranty coverage and circularity are part of the furniture brief.
