AndTradition Massif AV40 Bar Stool

AndTradition Massif AV40 Bar Stool

The AndTradition Massif AV40 Bar Stool is an oak bar stool from the Massif collection for people furnishing a bar-height seating area who prefer a fixed, unupholstered wooden design. Its defining combination is dark-stained oak with warm-black details, finished with plastic glides beneath the base for a practical point of contact with the floor.

Oak Bar Stool Design

Oak construction and a dark-stained finish give this AndTradition stool a clear material identity, while the warm-black details provide contrast. The restrained materials make it a considered option when choosing a wooden bar stool rather than an upholstered chair.

The AV40 has no upholstery, so there is no fabric covering to coordinate with a room or maintain. Its plastic glides sit between the stool and the floor, helping avoid direct wood-to-floor contact when the stool is in use.

Fixed Height Seating

This is a fixed-height bar stool: the seat height does not adjust, and the stool also has no adjustable back height or seat depth. That makes it important to match the stool to the height of the counter or bar where it will be used, rather than relying on later adjustment.

The design has no armrests, headrest or lumbar support. If you want a simple stool without these features, the AV40 offers a straightforward seating option; if you need adjustable positioning or built-in support, those features are not part of this model. Its stated maximum load capacity is 135 kg.

Massif Stool for Bar Areas

Choose the Massif AV40 for a bar-height seating arrangement where a fixed, unupholstered stool suits the way the space is used. Its wood base and oak finish make it relevant to interiors looking for a wood bar chair, while the warm-black detailing adds a contrasting finish without upholstery.

The stool is identified as circular in the product information, and it comes with a two-year warranty. Those details may help when comparing AndTradition bar stools, alongside the practical essentials: oak materials, plastic glides, a fixed configuration and a stated load limit.

For buyers considering a Massif collection stool, the AV40 is best suited to a setting where its fixed height and bar-stool format are appropriate. Check the counter or bar height before choosing it, since the seat cannot be raised or lowered after installation.
