FAMO Smile Rectangular Intermediate Support Desk

FAMO Smile Rectangular Intermediate Support Desk

The FAMO Smile Rectangular Intermediate Support Desk is a one-person straight desk for an individual office or home-office workstation. Its defining feature is an intermediate support leg, adding support beneath the rectangular work surface, while the choice of melamine or oak top materials and several surface and base colors helps it suit different workspace schemes.

Materials and Color Choices

The Smile desk combines a melamine or oak tabletop with a steel base, giving buyers a choice of surface materials alongside a metal support structure. Select a wood, white, beige, grey, black, green, blue or brown surface color, then coordinate it with a base available in white, black, grey, orange, red, beige, green or brown.

This range of finishes makes it easier to create a coordinated individual workstation or introduce a contrasting base color. Since the available options include both wood tones and neutral shades as well as several stronger colors, the desk can be considered for different office and home-office interiors without changing its straightforward rectangular design.

Desk Setup and Cable Planning

The intermediate support leg is a practical point of distinction for this straight desk: it provides additional support beneath the worktop rather than leaving the desk supported only at its outer legs. The base uses continuous, straight legs, keeping the structure aligned with the desk’s simple rectangular form.

The desk is suitable for a cable tray, which gives you the option to plan cable management around your workstation. A cable tray is not included, so you can choose a compatible solution separately to suit your setup. This is useful when you want to keep the desk surface dedicated to work rather than relying on the desk package to supply cable-storage accessories.

Individual Workstation Fit

Designed for one person, the FAMO Smile desk is intended for an individual working position rather than a linked run of desks; it is not linkable. It is also not adjustable, so consider whether a fixed desk configuration suits your preferred working setup before choosing it.

Several width options are available, allowing you to match the desk to the space available without changing its rectangular shape or one-person format. This makes the model relevant for a personal workstation in a professional office or home office, where a straight desk and a choice of finishes are priorities. The desk comes with a two-year warranty.
