The HAY Chisel 35 Bar Stool Low W Backrest H65 is a low bar stool designed for counter-style seating in home, workplace and shared interiors. It combines an upholstered seat and a supportive backrest with a lacquered wood base. The backrest gives this model a distinct profile compared with a backless stool, while the fixed-height design offers a consistent seating position.
The seat is upholstered in Atlas fabric, Group 1, and the base is made of wood. Listed upholstery colors include beige, grey, black, brown, green, orange, pink, red and blue, giving several options to consider alongside the room’s existing palette. The product information also lists base colors such as beige, red, black, brown, white and green. The seat and base colors are specified separately, so review both when selecting a finish for your space.
This stool has a backrest and no armrests, headrest or lumbar support. Its seat is described as a normal seat. The seat height, back height and seat depth are not adjustable, so consider the intended counter or bar seating position before ordering. This fixed setup may suit buyers looking for a straightforward stool rather than a chair with adjustable seating components.
Standard gliders are included. A footrest protector is not specified as included in the product information. These details can help when comparing the stool with other seating options or checking what is supplied for your intended setting. The upholstered seat and backrest make the Chisel 35 a different choice from a simple, unupholstered bar stool.
The listed maximum load is 135 kg, and the product information gives a two-year warranty. The stool is also marked as circular in the supplied information. Use these details, together with the fixed seating position and the listed materials, to assess whether the stool meets your needs. Its bar-stool format makes it suitable for settings where a low stool with a backrest is wanted; check the counter height and seating arrangement before purchase.
